Rebuilding Together
The Palisades Fire left a profound impact on our community, displacing families and altering landscapes. MKPOA is committed to leading recovery efforts that not only rebuild and repopulate but also restore hope and solidarity among residents and is working closely with other community leaders and organizations and governmental agencies. Our initiatives focus on view protection, fire resilient and sustainable rebuilding practices, community support networks, and long-term resilience planning to ensure a brighter future for all.
MKPOA has prepared a Position Statement concerning the view protection provisions of the CC&Rs as well as an application of submission of plans for rebuilds or renovations that change the original massing of the original homes as designed by the Lachmans.
Several members of the MKPOA Board serve as representatives on the Pacific Palisades Community Council (PPCC) and are members of the Palisades Recover Collation.
